Bollywood actor SHINEY AHUJA has been released on bail in Mumbai, India after he was accused of raping a member of his staff.
The up-and-coming star, who has been in custody since June (09), denies charges of rape, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation.
He has been ordered to stay away from Mumbai while he is on bail and must report to a police station once a week.
Ahuja's wife says, "From day one we have said that Shiney is innocent."
The 36-year-old actor has worked with a number of leading Bollywood directors and appeared in movies such as Gangster and Life in a Metro.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
