Riots have broken out in Bangalore, India, after fans of actor RAJKUMAR were refused the chance to pay their last respects to the Bollywood star who died yesterday (12APR06). The 77-year-old - who starred in more than 200 films - passed away after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest. His body has been on display at a stadium in the city during two days of mourning. He is set to be cremated today (13APR06). Violence broke out as more than 20,000 fans were turned away because of limited access to the body. Buses and cars were set alight and six policemen were injured as cops attempted to contain the crowd with tear gas and batons. Police spokesman UDAY BHASKAR says, "Six policemen have been injured. Additional policemen have been deployed on the streets to maintain law and order."
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
