The hit movie adaptation of John Green's novel The Fault In Our Stars is to be revamped for Bollywood.
Fox Star Studios executives are reworking the film, which featured Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as young cancer sufferers, to suit Indian audiences.
Film boss Vijay Singh tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We think the story will have an emotional connect with Indian audiences. The original English version was released here a couple of weeks ago and is still running.
"The film has done a business of about $1 million U.S. dollars. We had actually thought of adapting it locally even before the film was released here."
The '12 Years A Slave' director will receive the accolade at the London Film Festival in October.
Critics from all over the world were asked to name the best movie of the past 16 years.
