The body of a British actor has been found in London more than a year after he went missing.
Richard Gent, who had appeared in U.K. Tv series Torchwood and Being Human, had not been seen since 21 April, 2012 when he scrapped plans to meet up with friends.
His remains were discovered on 2 July (13) in woods near Barnet, London, close to the 27 year old's home.
Police confirm the death is not being treated as suspicious. An inquest has been opened by officials at the Finchley coroner's office in the U.K. capital, and Gent's funeral is slated to take place next month (Aug13).
A statement from his family reads, "The search for Richard is over and he is at peace now. We miss him more than we can ever say, and want to thank everyone for their support - not just from our family and friends, but from all those in the acting world who helped us when he went missing."
After Gent disappeared, several actors including his Being Human co-star Russell Tovey took to Twitter.com in a bid to locate him.
