Blues pianist Piano C. Red has died, seven years after he was shot and paralysed in a robbery.
The 79-year-old star passed away on Monday (03Jun13), according to his son James Britton. The musician's health had deteriorated ever since the shooting in 2006.
Red, real name Cecil Fain, spent years working as a taxi driver by day, and performed with blues greats Muddy Waters, B.B King, Fats Domino and Buddy Guy in the nightclubs of Chicago, Illinois.
According to the Associated Press, Red released a Cd entitled Cab Driving Man in 1999.
The youngster hasn't been the same since his trip to the Upside Down.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
