Blues singer JESSE FORTUNE has died after collapsing onstage during a show in New York. He was 79.
Fortune was pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Monday (31Aug09). An autopsy ruled he died of coronary atherosclerosis.
Known as Fortune Tellin' Man, the singer was born in Mississippi but moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he worked as a barber by day and a blues singer at night.
He had success with the hit Too Many Cooks in 1963 and worked with Buddy Guy and Willie Dixon.
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
