HAIRSPRAY actress Nikki Blonsky has slammed model BIANCA GOLDEN following their alleged airport brawl in July (08).
The 20-year-old was detained in the Turks and Caicos Islands along with her father, Carl Blonsky, and America's Next Top Model star Golden after a fight broke out in the holiday destination's airport lounge.
The altercation between Blonsky and Golden at the Providenciales International Airport was alleged to have started after the actress attempted to save seats for her family, leaving Golden and her mother with nowhere to sit.
Blonsky was charged with assault and actual bodily harm following the incident, but the charges against the star have now been dropped. Golden has also seen a charge of actual bodily harm against her dismissed.
And now the actress has spoken out about the incident - claiming Golden initiated it for "10 minutes of fame".
She tells America's OK! magazine, "I saw the dark side of the industry. I never knew there were people willing to do anything to get their name in the paper.
"It's a shame that someone will ruin a person's life and beat them up to get their 10 minutes of fame back. I think it's disgusting."
Carl Blonsky has pleaded not guilty to charges of grievous bodily harm.
