The blogger who leaked tracks from GUNS N' ROSES' forthcoming CHINESE DEMOCRACY album has agreed to a guilty plea deal in an effort to reduce the sentence he'll be handed.
Kevin Cogill hit the headlines this summer (08) when he put nine unreleased tracks on his website Antiquiet.com.
The group's lawyers forced him to pull the tracks down and he has since been hit with copyright infringement charges.
By pleading guilty, the blogger hopes federal prosecutors will reduce the charges against him to a single count of copyright infringement.
As a result, he'll face a year behind bars.
Guns N' Roses' long-awaited new album will be released on 23 November (08).
