British rocker Blaze Bayley has apologised to fans after he was forced to axe his upcoming North American tour.
The former Iron Maiden frontman was due to perform across the U.S. and Canada later this year (12), but he has now confirmed all the dates have been cancelled.
In a post on his website, he writes, "I am very disappointed to announce that due to circumstances beyond my control the September tour of Usa and Canada has been cancelled. I am gutted. I apologise from the bottom of my heart to all my fans that have waited so patiently to see me."
The rocker refuses to detail the reasons behind the cancellation, simply putting the move down to problems with a booking agent, but he insists he will try to schedule a new tour for next year (13) - and he even asks fans to give him suggestions about where to play.
He adds, "Work will now start on a tour in Usa and Canada for 2013 with a new agent... If there is a venue in your town that puts on live music and you would like me to play there in 2013, please send me the details and contact information and I will ask my agent to try and include it in the next tour. I don't care how small or dirty it is I will do my best to get there."
Two weeks ahead of Independent Venue Week, Dry Cleaning made 'Britain's Best Small Venue 2015' (NME) the second port of call on their 2020 tour.
