Rockers Black Veil Brides are to rejoin the Vans Warped Tour in America on Friday (01Jul11) after frontman Andy Biersack was given the OK to perform again after smashing his ribs in a balcony fall last month (Jun11)
The frontman lost his grip while clambering along a balcony rail during a promotional concert at the Hollywood & Highland shopping mall in Los Angeles.
The fall left him in the hospital with three fractured ribs.
The band was forced to scrap a series of concerts and the start of the Vans Warped Tour, which began last week (24Jun11).
But Biersack is making a good recovery and medics have given him the all-clear to get back onstage.
He tells Billboard.com doctors have given him "a very cautious clean bill of health", adding, "Pretty much I can do whatever I want in terms of movement. Anything short of blunt trauma to my ribs won't affect my healing."
A nurse will be on standby at each Warped tour stop to make sure Biersack is bandaged properly at all times.
He says, "It's gonna be about the most un-fun tour you can imagine - no drinking, no partying, just rest and then playing."
Black Veil Brides will hit the stage on Friday for the Vans Warped Tour stop in Pomona, California.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
