The 2007 American Black Film Festival is moving from its home of five years in Miami, Florida, to Los Angeles.
The 11th annual festival will take place between 25 to 29 October (07) at various venues in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Jeff Friday, of New York-based marketing and distribution company Film Life, tells the Los Angeles Times, "The move to Los Angeles is an important part of the festival's evolution.
"We intend to work more closely with the studios and create a more potent marketplace for buyers and producers of independent black cinema."
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
