Veteran British actor Bill Pertwee has died at the age of 86.
Pertwee enjoyed dozens of high-profile U.K. Tv roles during his 40-year career and also appeared in two movies in the bawdy 'Carry On' franchise, but he is best known for playing Chief Warden Hodges in classic wartime sitcom Dad's Army.
He passed away on Monday (27May13) but details of his death were unavailable as Wenn went to press.
