Rapper BIG HUTCH will be released from prison in Arkansas tomorrow (21JUL06) after serving more than two years for conspiracy to traffic marijuana. The ABOVE THE LAW frontman - also known as COLD187um - has always maintained his innocence, claiming men he had once been in contact with were arrested in a drug raid and accused him of financing their drug business. He told Allhiphop.com before he was imprisoned in 2004, "I knew them through mutual friends. It was a situation where guys who were working with my company were doing their thing. I had knowledge of what was going down, but that's it. They decided to put me in it and I was hit with a conspiracy charge." Hutch's Above The Law group mate DJ K-Oss recently completed a four year prison sentence for possessing rock cocaine for sale and transporting the drug.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
