London's theatreland enjoyed a record-breaking 2009 - West End venues took in over $800 million (£500 million) for the first time ever.
New figures suggest 14.3 million theatre fans attended West End plays, musicals and specials in 2009 - a 5.5 per cent rise from 2008.
The new statistics were compiled from 52 major theatres in central London.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
