Benjamin Millepide never considered being a model until he was asked to take a job representing YVES SAINT LAURENT.
Benjamin Millepide "never thought" about being a model.
The choreographer - who is engaged to Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman and is expecting their first child together imminently - was recently signed up as the face of YVES SAINT LAURENT's new fragrance L'Homme Libre, and he reveals he was surprised when he was asked to take part in the campaign.
He said: "It's something I never really thought of. The positive thing about it, I think, is I'm a dancer and it's not usually the sort of thing, it's always actors or models."
However, he learnt to be comfortable about doing it when he watched Natalie take part in her own campaign for Christian Dior's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance.
He added to WWD.com: "I learned a little bit or got a taste of it as I watch her through her commercial and her campaign."
Benjamin met Natalie on the set of ballet movie 'Black Swan', where he worked as a choreographer.
