Children's author Barbara Park has died at the age of 66.
Park passed away on Friday (15Nov13) after a long battle with ovarian cancer, according to People.com.
The writer was best known for her Junie B. Jones children's books, which sold more than 55 million copies in North America alone.
Park was the recipient of seven Children's Choice Awards and four Parents' Choice Awards.
She also was a founder of Sisters in Survival, a charitable organisation which benefits women with ovarian cancer.
