Armed forces in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania swooped on rapper Young Thug's van following a concert on Sunday (31Jul16) after an entourage member was spotted with a gun.
The hip-hop star was leaving the Southside Event Center after completing his set at the Summer Jam festival when SWAT team members surrounded his vehicle and searched everyone on board.
According to TMZ.com, a security official at the venue had seen a Young Thug crewmember with a firearm and alerted police, who sent in specialists to deal with the reported threat.
A source tells the website the rapper's bodyguards had four guns between them, but they were all properly licensed and were able to present the paperwork to authorities.
As a result, no arrests were made and they were allowed to leave without further incident.
Young Thug has yet to comment on the police run-in.
