The family of ailing U.S. radio and Tv icon Casey Kasem have gathered at a hospital in Washington state after the star's health took a turn for the worse.
The veteran Dj was admitted to a medical facility by his daughter Kerri on Sunday (01Jun14) after she was appointed her father's official caretaker following a bitter legal battle with her stepmother, Jean.
She claimed 82-year-old Kasem, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, has been struggling with bedsores and lung and bladder infections and wanted to have him properly examined by doctors.
However, Kasem's condition has since worsened, reports the New York Daily News.
Kerri's spokesperson, Danny Deraney, reveals, "(Kasem's) blood pressure was low and it is serious."
