After only two weeks on the job, The Job was sent packing by CBS on Monday after scoring some of the lowest ratings in the network's recent history. A rare misfire by the network, the Friday-night reality series boasted two highly successful producers, Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice, The Voice) and Michael Davies (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, ESPN's 2 Minute Drill). The show, hosted by Lisa Ling, premiered two weeks ago with 4.1 million viewers tuning in. In its second week, just 3.4 million bothered to watch. Six additional episodes have been produced; it's not clear whether they'll ever see the light of day.
