Australian Actress Carol Burns Has Died, Aged 68.
Burns passed away on Monday (21Dec15) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia following a short battle with cancer.
She co-founded the Queensland Theatre Company and performed in a number of stage productions until she moved into television in the 1970s.
Burns is best known for her role in TV series Prisoner: Cell Block H from 1979 and appearances in other shows including Blue Heelers, Carson's Law and Flipper.
During her career, she moved to the U.K. where she starred in West End productions and landed small roles in British TV series The Bill, Taggart, Casualty and Heartbeat.
Burns most recently appeared in John Cusack's action movie Drive Hard and 2013's Tracks, starring Mia Wasikowska.
