Bollywood Actress Aarthi Agarwal Has Died At The Age Of 31 After Suffering Complications Following Liposuction Surgery.
The star passed away in New Jersey on Friday (05Jun15) from a heart attack allegedly caused by issues relating to the cosmetic procedure she had undergone six weeks prior.
She was treated for a "medical issue" at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, but was subsequently pronounced dead, according to officials.
Agarwal made her film debut at the age of 16 in 2000's Paagalpan, and went on to star in movies such as Indra, Veede, Bambara Kannaley and Ranam 2, which was released in India on the same day she died.
She had previously hit headlines in 2006 following a reported suicide attempt, when she was hospitalised in India with internal head injuries.
She wed software engineer Tasval Kumar in 2007 but they divorced two years later (09).
