British actor Lyndam Gregory has lost his battle with lung cancer, aged 59.
The former EastEnders star died last week (ends17Aug14), according to his wife Christine.
Gregory was born in Darjeeling, India and moved to London with his family in the early 1960s. After studying at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, he went on to land roles in British Tv series including Surgical Spirit, EastEnders and Coronation Street.
He is survived by his wife and their daughter, Dominique.
