British actor Barry Jackson has died, aged 75.
Jackson passed away at his home in north London on Thursday (05Dec13). No more details about his death were available as Wenn went to press.
The veteran star enjoyed a long career on the small screen, appearing in U.K. shows such as Doctor Who, The Professionals, Lovejoy, Silent Witness, The Bill and Minder, but he is best known for his long-running role in crime drama Midsomer Murders.
He played pathologist Dr George Bullard for more than a decade.
Jackson's film credits include appearances in Ryan's Daughter and Wimbledon.
