British rockers New Order have been forced to ditch the artwork for their forthcoming album - over fears the disc would be offensive to victim's of the Indian Ocean tsunami.

The BLUE MONDAY stars' latest offering, WAITING FOR THE SIREN'S CALL, originally featured an Asian woman standing beneath a waterfall.

After last December's (04) horrific tidal wave, which left thousands of people dead in Asia, frontman BERNARD SUMMER and his bandmates switched the design to simple lettering against a white background.
