For the second week in a row, CBS's Two and a Half Men topped the Nielsen ratings list for total adults, capturing 20.53 million viewers. Among 18-49 year-old viewers, however, it placed second, edged out by Sunday Night Football on NBC. The two shows, however, were separated by fewer than 500,000 viewers in the younger demo -- 9.90 million for football, 9.40 million for Men . The evening newscasts saw their audiences tick up a bit, as viewers tried to make heads or tails out of the confusing economic data, domestically and internationally, that poured out all week. NBC Nightly News with Britan Williams continued to lead with 8.02 million viewers, ahead of ABC World News with Diane Sawyer , which drew 7.45 million viewers. The CBS Evening News with Scott Peley also saw its numbers improve from a year ago when it was hosted by Katie Couric. Last week it attracted 5.89 million viewers. For the week, CBS ranked No. 1 among total adults with an average 7.6 rating and a 12 share. ABC placed second with a 5.6/9. NBC came in third with a 4.5/7, slightly ahead of Fox with a 4.3/7.
