Having spent most of his teens naÃ¯vely experimenting with free software, a cacophony of noises that shouldn't work, and equipment that had seen better days, National Forest (aka Daniel Cowley) crafted a beautiful, pastoral collection of songs which were released as his eponymous debut on faith & hope in 2003. Now with his outstanding second album One Million, National Forest has escaped the isolation and restlessness of his debut, with a mood of optimism and pleasure now wrapping itself around the trademark blend of inspired bleeps and acoustic meddling.
On the 8th of May 'A.M. Lights' will be released, this is the first single to be released from the album, it features troubadour Jacob Fletcher on vocals. Check out the animated video.
