A leading British historian has slammed an upcoming Natalie Portman movie charting the life of 16th century British monarch KING HENRY VIII's wife and sister. THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL is based on PHILLIPPA GREGORY's historical novel, with Scarlett Johansson and Portman playing two fiercely ambitious sisters, MARY and ANN BOLEYN, who were rivals for the heart of the King, played by Eric Bana. But the Hollywood depiction of British history has been blasted by DAVID STARKEY, who fears the Transatlantic casting could render the movie unfaithful to real events and people. He says, "It's another example of how all historical figures have to be portrayed on screen with American accents to appeal to an American audience. "It's slightly strange, but then I suppose the Tudors are universal figures."
