Former ALL SAINTS singers NICOLE and Natalie Appleton have been dropped by their record label POLYDOR after disappointing chart positions.
The duo, APPLETON, sold just 700,000 copies of their album EVERYTHING'S EVENTUAL meaning it floundered at number 159 in the charts. Despite two top five singles, the album peaked at number nine before falling fast.
An industry insider tells British tabloid the SUNDAY PEOPLE, "It has been decided to let the Appleton sisters go. Polydor have spent a lot of money signing them and marketing the album but it just hasn't sold.
"There is no way they will risk marketing another album with them."27/04/2003 14:50
