The 34-year-old singer, who also serves as a mentor on hit TV talent show La Voz Kids (The Voice Kids), announced her big news with a sweet post on Instagram.com on Monday (11Apr16).

"Surprise!" she wrote. "Guess who is going to be a mom... We are very happy to share this news with you!"

The baby will be Natalia's first with her new husband, talent manager Daniel Trueba, who she wed in December (15) after six years of dating.

The news emerges four days after Natalia was added to the line-up of the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards on 28 April (16). She will join fellow performers Juanes, Yandel, and Marc Anthony at the Miami, Florida prizegiving.

Meanwhile, Natalia will also be heading back to work on the fourth season of La Voz Kids to defend her title. Her protege, 11-year-old Jonael Santiago, was crowned the winner of the 2015 competition, earning him a recording contract with Universal Music Group.
