Nas' tax troubles have caught up with him once again amid reports he owes more than $1 million (£625,000) to officials in Georgia.

The I Can hitmaker, real name Nasir Jones, reportedly owes the State of Georgia's Department of Revenue (Gdr) $1,083,435 (£680,983) in back taxes from 2006 and 2007, as well as 2009 and 2010.

According to court papers, obtained by, Gdr officials requested an order demanding bosses at Live Nation, the company behind Nas' current tour with singer Lauryn Hill, to dock his wages until the debt is paid.

This is not the first time the rapper has fallen foul of the America's Internal Revenue Service - earlier this year (12), it was reported that Nas owed more than $6 million (£3.7 million) to the U.S. Government in unpaid taxes.
