The supermodel and the Russian billionaire - who split in May after five years of dating - showed up at the same Interview magazine party at soon-to-open restaurant Monarch in New York City on Tuesday night (10.09.13), leading Vladimir to make a swift exit.
The brunette beauty arrived at the bash at 12:45am and was seated at a VIP table just metres away from her ex.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: ''Only a security guard separated them.''
Another eye-witness to the scene added: ''She went in, and he came right out.''
Naomi, 43, and Vladimir are rumoured to have fallen out over his alleged liaison with her model protégé, Zi Lin, who was a finalist on her reality TV show 'The Face'.
The former Miss Universe China was spotted smooching the Russian tycoon during a romantic break on the Spanish party island of Ibiza shortly after things ended with Naomi.
