Nancy Grace was surprisingly saved at the expense of a gracious David Arquette on the latest elimination round of Dancing With The Stars, the American TV personality facing a chorus of boos as it turned out that she was to survive for another week. Grace had been in bullish mood throughout the show; having been told she was in the bottom two, midway through the program, she responded "It ain't over yet, people!"
For Arquette, who owes a great deal of his success to 1996 horror film 'Scream', it was over however, the 40 year-old and professional partner Kym Johnson following on from Cher's son Chaz Bono as being the latest to be evicted from the show. Arquette was magnanimous in defeat, saying "This whole thing has been incredible, I've loved it," he grinned before joking, "But there must be a mistake because this is my show. I can't be going home!"
Arquette would've had every reason to feel galled at the result, having received 24 for his cha-cha over Garcia's measly 21 for her jive. However, continuing his respect for the show, the actor said, "I came here to get to know more about myself, face my fears, entertain people, have, like, America have a chance to know me better and learn how to dance . This production is top notch. It's been an amazing experience. I'm very grateful, and thank you to all the fans." There are now just five couples remaining from an original twelve.
