British singer Myleene Klass has suffered a loss on the property market after selling her former marital home for $1.1 million (£700,000) less than her asking price.
The pop star-turned-Tv presenter had a $4 million (£2.5 million) price tag on the five-bedroom country house she once shared with husband Graham Quinn in Cuffley, England.
However, the mother-of-two has now sold the home for $2.8 million (£1.8 million), and she will split the profits with Quinn, who walked out on her after just six months of marriage last year (12).
A source tells Britain's Sunday People newspaper, "They'd hoped to get a bigger nest egg to move on with their lives but in the current economic climate that's all the sale would reach. They'd been struggling to sell it for a while. It's a bit of a blow for Myleene - but she is just happy to be moving on in her life."
The couple has two daughters, Ava and Hero.
