British star Myleene Klass sent her two daughters to school dressed as her miniature versions of herself for World Book Day on Thursday (05Mar15).

The former Hear'Say singer took to to share images of seven-year-old Ava and Hero, three, in costume for the annual event, during which literature-lovers around the world dress up as book authors and characters.

Klass, who has published a maternity guide and a children's activity book, kitted the girls out in leopard print coats and floppy hats to mimic her own personal style, and sent them to school carrying copies of her 2013 book Things To Make And Do With Your Children.

In a caption on the image, she writes, "Guess who Ava's going as! #worldbookday #minimama."

Klass caused a stir at Ava's London school last month (Feb15) when she shared a private email from fellow parents regarding a class birthday present on, prompting criticism from both teachers and parents.
