Singer Mutya Buena is reportedly furious after she was tricked into releasing a single written by her Sugababes rival Amelle Berrabah.
Buena launched her solo career after leaving the girl band in December 2005 and topped the U.K. charts with her track Real Girl.
But the star is allegedly angry after learning recorded bosses initially offered the song to her former bandmates because it was written by Berrabah.
A source tells Britain's Closer magazine, "Mutya went mad. The track was offered to the Sugababes first, but they turned it down so it got passed on to Mut. She put the song on the album, then the record company had to break the bad news to her.
"Mutya was fuming and wanted the track taken off. They wouldn't ditch the song so they compromised by changing Amelle's name to a made-up one in the credits."
