Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has joined the long list of celebrity fashionistas by launching a new range of men's clothing and accessories for sporting giants Adidas.
Ali By Adidas will launch in America next spring (06) with a footwear line to follow in the autumn.
It isn't the first time the boxer has teamed up with Adidas bosses - he was among the sporting figures who helped the company launch its Impossible Is Nothing ad campaign last year (04).
Ali's new range features "iconic pieces" and images familiar to fans of the boxing legend.
Adidas designers have recreated clothing items Ali actually wore in the 1970s for the new sportswear range, including terrycloth polo shirts and hooded sweatshirts.
Ali says, "Throughout my life, I have pushed beyond the boundaries of what is expected. I truly believe that impossible is nothing. I am excited about my new partnership with Adidas."14/07/2005 02:55
