MTV host and BMX star T.J. LAVIN is back home following his hospitalisation after a serious bike accident last month (Oct10).
The action sportsman, who presents MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge, was admitted to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas and placed in a medically-induced coma after crashing while competing in the Dew Tour Championships BMX.
The 33 year old regained consciousness days later and was released from hospital on Monday (15Nov10) - and his mum Barbara reveals he is slowly returning to normal.
She says, "He is now walking, talking, eating on his own and is getting his sense of humour back. He has some eye issues and balance issues, but, as the swelling goes down, we hope they will go away. He's starting to get his personality back."
