'Teen Mom' star Amber Portwood has pleaded with a judge to send her to prison once and for all. Portwood was sentenced to five years behind bars in January for drug possession, though was given a second chance provided she successfully completed a drug rehabilitation program, reports TMZ.com.
However, Amber has reportedly struggled to meet the requirements of the program, and has now given up on it entirely - asking a judge to impose her original five year sentence. After rolling up to court this week, she openly admitted to not staying clean since the beginning the program. Portwood's lawyer reportedly stood in shock and shook his head through her entire speech. The former MTV star said she couldn't stand the court's drug rehabilitation conditions and wanted out immediately, even if that meant heading to the slammer. No doubt unable to believe what he was hearing, the judge eventually sent Portwood to the Madison County jail in Indiana, where she'll remain until her sentencing in a couple of weeks.
It's not Portwood's first run-in with the law - she was arrested in December 2010 after Mtv filmed her violently beating her boyfriend Gary, in front of the couple's child Leah.
