Morrissey has threatened to "burn" his autobiography if his publishers fail to release the book soon.
The former The Smiths star has lifted the lid on his life in a new book, which was scheduled to hit stores late last year (12).
However, the memoirs failed to materialise, and Morrissey reveals the delays are making him angry, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "If the book doesn't come out soon, I'll burn it."
He adds of the tome, "I've never felt fully present in my own life. I've always felt like a ghost drifting through. I'm not actually flesh. So autobiography is a therapeutic act of self-loyalty, even if, like me, you end up with chapters of self-disgust rather than reams of narcissism."
