New Single 'Be All You Want Me To Be' Out October 24th
And Headline Tour
'Beneath their indie pop choruses lurks a disturbed soul. Mathews lyrics explore everything from family issues and breakdowns to horror movies, while Fields piano is more Nick Cave than Keane' NME
Morning Runner are definitely a band to keep your eye on. Having released an EP earlier this year their first chart eligible single, 'Gone up in Flames' rocketed in to the top 40. The band were lucky enough to play as openers for Coldplay on their UK stadium tour to over 150,000 people, and then followed this with their own sell-out headline tour – not bad for a band who have only released two singles.
Morning Runner have built up a sizeable fan base in a very short space of time and it's easy to see why. Matthew Greener's disturbed soul gives rise to dark lyrics laid over stunning piano and ferocious guitars. They tour the UK in October and their debut album will be out in January.
