Colombian rocker Juanes also added to his 2004 awards haul by picking up Artist of The Year and Best Rock Artist prizes.
Other highlights in the second annual MTV awards show, held in Miami Beach, Florida, include British group Coldplay picking up the Best International Rock Artist gong and Evanescence being honoured with the Best New International Artist.
