Moby, Duff Mckagan and 'Weird' Al Yankovic have signed up to audition for cult indie act Postal Service as part of a hilarious new promotional video.

In the skit, which is set in 2002, Postal Service main man Jimmy Tamborello is looking for a partner to front his duo, aided by an annoying record company talent scout, played by comedian Jon Daly.

The stars take the stage one after the another and are turned away by the rude label rep.

Bassist MCKagan storms out stating, "I don't need this indie f**king s**t", after the scout refuses to believe he was a member of Guns N' Roses.

Tamborello eventually picks his real partner, Ben Gibbard, who reunited with his former bandmate earlier this year (13) to mark the 10th anniversary of their only album, Give Up, which has become indie label Sub Pop's second biggest hit since Nirvana's Bleach.
