Miley Cyrus is making up for the concerts she had to postpone last month (Apr14) due to illness after added a headlining spot at London's Capital Summertime Ball as part of her summer dates in Europe.

The Wrecking Ball singer, who resumed her Bangerz dates in London on Tuesday (06May14) and also announced she'll be performing via satellite at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, has become the first act confirmed to perform at the Wembley Stadium pop festival on 21 June (14).

The appearance will fall between Bangerz tour dates in Belgium and Holland.

Announcing the news on Wednesday, Cyrus said, "It's such an iconic place, and for me to get to play is going to be really insane."

The pop star had to scrap a series of North American gigs when she was hospitalised for 10 days last month after suffering an allergic reaction to medication she was taking for a sinus infection.
