Miley Cyrus has spoken out about BRET MICHAELS' recent health scares - insisting she always knew the rocker would survive because he is so "strong".
The Poison star suffered a near-fatal brain haemorrhage in April (10), just weeks after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
His health problems were later compounded when he suffered a minor stroke and was diagnosed with a hole in the heart.
Cyrus, who became friends with the star after they re-recorded Poison hit Every Rose Has Its Thorn together, admits her friend's hospitalisation was "scary" and but she was convinced he would pull through.
She tells E! Online, "It was scary. But his family kept us really close and involved. Bret is strong, so I wasn't worried. My mom and dad got a little bit worried because it's a scary thing. But he got very lucky. I don't think his time is done."
