The 26-year-old blonde beauty was spotted looking happy and relaxed as she strolled around the polo field with the former ice-hockey star, whom she married in Santa Barbara in August 2010.
An insider claimed earlier this week that the couple have been working on their relationship since sharing a romantic trip to the Bahamas in February.
The source said: ''Hilary and Mike hooked up when they were in the Bahamas. Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real. Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance.
''They've been meeting for hook-ups ever since, and Hilary's softened and the two are moving forward to see if they can work it out.''
The pair announced in January that they had ''mutually decided [upon] an amicable separation'' and were determined to remain friends for the sake of their son.
Hilary's mother Susan Duff later said: ''They're better friends than a married couple.''
