Mick Hucknell is bitter he missed out on collaborating with jazz legend Miles Davis, because the only time they met he was starstruck and silent.

The Simply Red frontman claims they shared a mutual admiration, but regrets being so shy when they met.

He says, "I bumped into him backstage at the Grammys. He came over and said: 'Simply Red? I loved that album. PICTURE BOOK.' I was so blown away I just nodded and said: 'Thanks'."
