Kim Cattrall has emerged as a surprise contender to sit on the panel of the forthcoming series of 'Britain's Got Talent' as the show undergoes a radical personnel change before commencing next year. Previous judges Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff have both the left the show, with the latter allegedly being sacked which means that Amanda Holden remains the only original judge - even she will be missing the early rounds of the competition having fallen pregnant with her second child with Chris Hughes.
This means that the door is wide open and reports have suggested that 'Sex And The City' star Kim Cattrall will be taking on a role, with the UK's Sun newspaper quoting a source from the show saying "We love Kim. She might be best known for her American TV shows but she was born in Liverpool and spent a lot of time here in Britain. She gets our sensibilities in the way The Hoff never could."
Cattrall's not the only one in the running however, as 'Eastenders' star Samantha Womack is also being touted for a role as a judge, the 39 year-old actress who plays Roni Mitchell apparently jetting to Los Angeles for a meeting with Simon Cowell. Talking of Cowell, those who've missed his presence on this year's 'X Factor UK' will be given some consolation at least that he'll be returning to England to be on the show again himself.
