Michael Jackson will not be laid to rest until the results of a second autopsy are revealed, according to his father Joe Jackson.
The Thriller hitmaker suffered a fatal cardiac arrest last Thursday (25Jun09) and the Los Angeles coroner's office revealed there was no indication of foul play after conducting a three-hour autopsy on Friday (26Jun09).
A final verdict will not be available for up to six weeks as officials await the results of toxicology, neuropathology and pulmonary tests to determine the exact cause of death.
However, Joe Jackson is convinced there is more to the circumstances surrounding his son's shock death, and reveals a second examination of his remains is being performed on Monday (29Jun09).
During a press conference held outside the family compound in Encino, California on Monday (28Jun09), Joe also took the opportunity to deny claims the Thriller superstar will be buried at his beloved Neverland residence.
He told reporters, "That's not true."
Jackson told the media there would be no immediate funeral plans until the results of the second autopsy were made available.
