Concert promoters behind last weekend's (08Oct11) Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales have been accused of failing to settle a $200,000 (£125,000) bill to cover the cost of flights for the King of Pop's friends and family.
Gig organisers at Global Live booked plane tickets from the U.S. for members of the Jackson family and a number of Vip guests including singer/actor Jamie Foxx and Christina Aguilera, who performed at Michael Forever - The Tribute Concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
But bosses at Entertainment Travel Company, the firm hired to sort out the flights, claim Global Live executives are two weeks late in handing over the money and allege they are now struggling to contact the promoters.
But Global Live Ceo Chris Hunt insists the matter is in the process of being settled.
He tells, "All bills are being reconciled and as they (Entertainment Travel Company heads) have been told, they will be completely paid in full."
The Michael Jackson tribute concert also saw performances from Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson and Leona Lewis, while the Thriller superstar's three children took centre stage to honour their late father.
