Prosecutors in Michael Jackson's child molestation trial showed jurors his telephone records on Monday (02MAY05) claiming they prove the singer kidnapped his teen accuser GAVIN ARVIZO and his family.
The jury at the court in Santa Maria, California was presented with charts showing frequent calls the THRILLER star made to three aides, named as unindicted co-conspirators in the alleged kidnap, and Arvizo's mother Janet.
Prosecutors claim the dramatic increase in calls following the abuse allegations proves a rushed plot to hold Arvizo and his family captive in California, while Jackson persuaded them to take part in a video rebutting Martin Bashir's damaging LIVING WITH MICHAEL JACKSON documentary.
Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
